Lyrics for Blueberry Hill.

Vincent Rose, lyrics by John L. Rooney

I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill,
on Blueberry Hill,
when I found you,
the moon stood still,
on Blueberry Hill,
and lingered until,
my dreams came true,
the wind in the willows played,
loves sweet melody,
but all of the vows we made,
were never to be,
though we're apart,
you're part of me still,
for you were my thrill,
on Blueberry Hill,

Instrumental

the wind in the willows played,

but all of the vows we made,
were never to be,
though we're apart,
you're part of me still,
for you were my thrill,
on Blueberry Hill,
for you were my thrill,
on Blueberry Hill,
for you were my thrill,
on Blueberry Hill,

This song is in fact a recent (1980s) demo which somebody obtained and then released. The vocals are provided by a later singer and NOT Denis D'Ell. Although Martin Murray is playing on this he was very angry that it was ever released as it is only demo quality and not intended for public sale. The song appears on an album titled "The Best of the Honeycombs". 20.07.2009 Vanilla OMP label.
It is quite possible that a complaint under the trades description act could be brought against this recording which has only five tracks and does not include That's The Way, or Eyes, but does include this rather improbable offering.
It also appears on the slightly earlier album "Have I The Right To Listen" Collecting Records OMP 01.01.2007 with exactly the same tracks but in a different order. Both albums are in fact not legitimate and are certainly not worth buying.
